Right to Work Policy

Right to work responsibilities for subcontractors working with RMB Stripouts LTD.

Last updated: 2 October 2026.

RMB Stripouts LTD engages subcontractors rather than directly employing site workers. Each subcontracting business that employs people is responsible for checking their right to work in the UK before employment and for any follow-up checks required by law. This website does not provide a worker registration or account service.

Subcontractor responsibilities

Subcontractors should use a checking method permitted by current Home Office guidance, such as the official online service when a valid share code is provided, an appropriate check of original documents, or an approved identity service where applicable. The check must establish that the person can do the work in question. A subcontractor working personally must ensure that they have any immigration permission required for their own work.

Our approach

We may ask subcontractors for appropriate assurance that legal requirements have been met where relevant to a project or site. We handle any personal information received fairly and securely under our Privacy Policy. We expect checks and requests for evidence to be carried out without unlawful discrimination.

Questions

Please contact us if you have a question about requirements for a particular project. Subcontractors should consult the current GOV.UK guidance for their own checks.
